MC May/16 - Easel Quill Vortex - How Old Would You Be - HB

MCMay16_EaselQuillVortex_HowOldWouldYouBe_HB.html

Another good quilling day this week and was playing with creating vortex coiled flowers. I think they turned out OK, may need a bit more practice... After watching the you tube video from Quilled Creations using their new comb tool, I decided to make the leaf sprigs using a dog grooming comb I bought last year. Worked well.

And one of the challenges called for anything but square or rectangular, which got me thinking about the Stitched Oval die set I have from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I'm using a quote ("How Old Would You Be...") and sentiment stamp ("Happy Birthday Plain and Simple" 7pce set) from Quietfire Design

Oh, how pretty those leaves and flowers are! Very fresh colors. I especially love the round-ish flowers. They remind me of ranunculus. Nice easel with the oval shape.
